I am having two different reactions to the sleeping and inattention of students during class: 1st - the kids may absorb more than you think they are during class time and 2nd - what a waste of U.S. taxpayer money to send teachers into a country where the children have no interest in learning what we have to teach them. I just hope for the best in this situation since I have no control at all in the outcome. I do imagine that the people you have had contact with will benefit from what you have to teach just by being you, Catherine.
